IEEE Student Transition and Elevation Partnership (STEP) is an initiative of Young Professional Affinity Group to provide the soon leaders with a vital boost, training them to be the pre-eminent in their field of choice. As the name suggests the event focuses solely on providing a dynamic program for facilitating the transition of students from the student life to the professional life by introducing the opportunities and benefits of IEEE membership during the onset of a STEM career through seminars, workshops and interactive sessions. It ensures the participants experience along with the knowledge that cannot be found on a daily basis. It is the second time that such an event is being hosted by IEEE AIUB Student Branch.

IEEE AIUB Student Branch

Having hosted many flagship events it holds many achievements amongst which IEEE MGA Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award 2017, IEEE Bangladesh Section Best Student Branch Award (2014, 2015, 2016), IEEE Region 10 Outstanding Branch Counselor & Branch Chapter Advisor Award 2017 represents few of the very honorary achievements of IEEE AIUB Student Branch, with the latest achievement being won was the Best Student Branch Infographics Poster Presentation Competition Award at the IEEE Region 10 Student/YP/WIE/Life Members (SYWL) Congress 2018 – Bali, Indonesia. Our past Ventures
[/mk_title_box][mk_padding_divider size=”70″]IEEE AIUB Student branch has been the largest and one of the most successful student branches in both IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE Region 10. Being a trademark in both membership development and organizing professional and technical activities, it successfully organized Student Professional Awareness Venture (SPAVe) under the SPAx program of IEEE-USA for the first time in the history of IEEE Bangladesh Section in 2016 and later on SPAVe 2.0 in 2018 and in recent times for the first time in the history of Bangladesh Section along with the entire Asia Pacific Region successfully organized Student Professional Awareness Workshop (SPAW). The venture was supported by IEEE USA, IEEE Region 10, IEEE Bangladesh Section, IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh and IEEE BDS Student Activities Committee, which consisted of workshops, seminars and technical talks to guide students to shape their future and build a successful professional career.
