In the modern era of competitiveness, the professional world is in search of the very best, not willing to spare any compromises. It is the transition period from student life to a professional world that proves to be the hardest, with optimistic hurdles placed on each corner. IEEE Student Transition and Elevation Partnership (STEP) provides a dynamic program for facilitating the transition by introducing the opportunities and benefits of IEEE membership during the onset of a STEM career. It is an initiative of the IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group to provide the soon to be leaders with a vital boost, training them to be the pre-eminent in their field of choice.

With the expertise of IEEE AIUB Student Branch and their astounding achievements as a motivation, for the second time in the history of IEEE Bangladesh Section, it is going to host the event “STEP” in association with IEEE Young Professionals Bangladesh Section in hope of more success, experience and creativity. It is a day-long event consisting of seminars, workshops and interactive session, which would prove to be beneficial and worthwhile for the participants as it would make their transition from a student life to the professional world more convenient.

The grand event will be taking place at American International University – Bangladesh on the 6^th of October (Saturday), 2018. It is an event open to students studying in any STEM field from all universities around Bangladesh, with special focus on graduating and graduate students. There will be arrangements for refreshments from morning to evening to invigorate the participants for the entire day.
